In rotational molding, thermoplastic granules cannot be used directly and the granules must be processed into powder because the rotational molding process is performed at zero pressure and high temperature. In such circumstances, using powder has advantages such as uniform distribution, rapid melting, high surface quality, and lower residual stress compared to granules.
Currently, only Tabriz grade 3840 is used in rotational molding. Basrom's research and development team was able to produce a product based on Tabriz 3840 but with improved mechanical and chemical properties, using scientific knowledge and a unique formulation.
Basrom offers its products to its customers in both 25kg bags and bulk. To better maintain the quality of thermoplastic powder, it is better not to expose it to moisture.
Petrochemical grades have general applications and are not effective for specific applications; Basrom has tried to produce its products specialized for specific applications by producing a diverse product portfolio.
By crosslinking polyethylene, its operating temperature and chemical resistance increase. It is recommended to use crosslinked polyethylene for the production of tanks used to store chemicals.
